Description

For the Remodel and Expansion of an FBO (Fixed Based Operator) facility Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, postal money order or bid bond made payable to the Port of Walla Walla in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid. Said check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute such contract as may be awarded to him/her in conformity with his/her bid and with the contract documents and shall provide surety bond or bonds as specified therein within ten days after notification of the award of contract. The EEO requirements, labor provisions, and wage rates are included in the RFP. Plans and specifications are attached to this RFP. b. The construction site is located at 199 W. Fairchild Ave. and is partially within the Air Operations Area (AOA) which is a secured area. The Contractor is required to have one or more of the Contractors apply for a security access badge to have unescorted access. A minimum of one (1) badged Contractor shall be on-site at all times during construction. A badge applicant will work with WWRA to go through a thorough, federal background check for authorization to work within the AOA. Based on background check results WWRA reserves the right to not issue an AOA access badge to any Contractor that does not qualify.
