| Description | The Plywood Trail Project is a great opportunity to link four Iowa cities, Le Mars, Merrill, Hinton, and Sioux City creating a regional Tri-State Trail Network. The trail network is expected to provide approximately 60 miles of cycling and pedestrian trails. The project is included in the city's 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 25, 2022, a design engineer has been selected. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
