Wallace Elevator Upgrade and Modernization

This invitation is for elevator upgrades in the Wallace building as specified in the following bid at Eastern Kentucky University's Richmond Campus. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the project outlined in the event and attachments including all items indicated throughout the event. Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University. A point of contact for EKU Project Management will be provided to the awarded vendor at time of award. Eastern Kentucky University reserves the right to award in part or in whole and to award multiple suppliers/contracts if in the best interest of the university. Questions Due By: 10/24/2022 no later than 4:00PM Bid bonds and performance bonds are required unless otherwise stated. The basic intent of this project and specification is for the Elevator Contractor to provide a fully operational and code compliant upgrade and modernization of Two (2) Armor Passenger Traction Elevators. The Elevator contractor shall bid and construct the project based on and satisfy all applicable requirements of current national, state, and local codes and safety regulations including the ASME A17.1 2010 Edition and A17.3 for existing elevators, electrical and environmental requirements.
