SMD Services IDIQ Contract for Maintenance Painting of Apartments, Interior and Exterior Public Space

Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Maintenance Painting of Apts, Interior & Exterior Public Space work including Stairwell Painting (FRP & Silicate Systems) - Located at Various Developments in All Five (5) Boroughs of New York City. No Bid Security Required. NYCHA intends to separately solicit and award twenty (20) IDIQ contracts for Maintenance Painting of Apartments, Interior and Exterior Public Space Work including Stairwell Painting. NYCHA has determined that it is in the best interest of NYCHA to award only two (2) of these twenty (20) IDIQ contracts to any one (1) individual contractor. Therefore the Contractor awarded two (2) contracts pursuant to this solicitation will not be eligible to be awarded an additional one from the eighteen (18) remaining IDIQ contract for Maintenance Painting of Apartments, Interior and Exterior Public Space Work including Stairwell Painting even if the Contractor's bid is the lowest bid for that contract. The Term of this Contract is two (2) years, with the option to extend, at NYCHA's sole discretion, for one (1) year. Please note that in the event NYCHA receives no responses in connection with this RFQ by the original bid submission deadline, the bid submission deadline shall be extended automatically for seven (7) calendar days. The foregoing extension does not in any way limit NYCHA's right to extend the bid submission deadline for any other reason. The Apprenticeship Program: depending on the value of the Contractor's Bid Adjustment Factor, the Contractor shall be required to enroll Authority residents as apprentices. The Contractor must comply with the requirements set forth in Section 3 (Apprenticeship Program) of the Special Notices and Conditions. Prior to submitting a bid, please confirm that your bid response includes all required forms and documentation and that all required forms and documentation are properly completed, signed, and notarized, where applicable.
