Description

Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Online Q&AYes Q&A Deadline 01/12/2023 1:00 PM (PST) Scope of Services Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and disposal as necessary to complete the construction of Pavement Improvements at Shelter Island Parking Lots, San Diego, California. Notes The Contractor's License Requirement for this contract is a California State Contractor's License, General Engineering Contractor License A or Earthwork and Paving Contractor License C-12, in accordance with the provisions of Division 3, Chapter 9, of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California. The Work Includes: A. Parking Lots #1A & 1B. The work is located close to Brigantine Seafood and Oyster Bar Restaurant with approximately 100,000 square feet of pavement area. Work shall include 1 1/2 " cold milling and 1 1/2 " thick of new asphalt overlay and application of tack coat on the existing asphalt pavement and on all vertical surfaces before placement of new asphalt pavement. Other work shall also include removal and disposal of milled asphalt and other construction debris; removal and disposal of all existing concrete wheel stops; installation of new concrete wheel stops; restoration of all pavement markings and striping; protection of all other existing improvements; and all other work as shown on the drawing and as specified. B. Parking Lots #2. The work is located on the eastern portion of the parking lot with approximately 20,000 square feet of asphalt concrete pavement. Work shall include repair of existing asphalt pavement, where the top 3" of existing asphalt concrete pavement will be removed and disposed; place paving fabric over remaining asphalt concrete pavement, and placement of new 3" thick of asphalt pavement. Other work shall include striping; pavement marking; removal and disposal of all existing wheel stops; installation of new concrete wheel stops; other miscellaneous concrete improvements and other work as shown on the drawing. C. Parking Lots #2 & #3. - The work is located adjacent to the Shelter Island Boat Launch with approximately 90,000 square feet of asphalt concrete pavement. Work shall include repair of existing asphalt pavement, where the existing asphalt concrete pavement will be removed and disposed; re-use and recompact existing base or subgrade materials and placement of new 5" thick of asphalt pavement. Other work shall include striping; pavement marking; removal and disposal of all existing wheel stops; installation of new concrete wheel stops; other miscellaneous concrete improvements and other work as shown on the drawing. D. Parking Lot #10 - This parking lot is located close to the Shelter Island Boat Launch of approximately 175,000 square feet of asphalt concrete pavement. The work shall include crack sealing; slurry seal, type 2 application; striping, pavement markings and other work as shown as shown on the drawings.
