Description

The Salisbury Middle School Gym Air Conditioning project consists of mechanical, electrical and structural work associated with adding cooling to existing Air Handling Units #9 (Main Gym) and #10 (Aux. Gym). New condensing units will be located on the roof above. New structural steel will be provided to support the same. The new evaporator coils and drain pans will be installed in the existing air handling units and connected to the condensing units with refrigerant piping. New controls, sensors, and devices will be provided for each air handling unit. Demand controlled ventilation controls have been added as an energy conservation measure. New fan premium efficiency fan motors, sheaves and belts are provided for each air handling unit. Testing and balancing of air handling units shall be provided to verify performance of the same. Supporting electrical work shall include power for new fan motors, condensing units and new ATC panels.
