Boiler Replacement

Furnish and install (2) High efficiency, condensing, Lochinvar Boilers (or comparable units) to replace the existing Weil McLain unit. Scope to include; Lockout/tagout existing unit. Isolate gas supply, electrical power and control wiring. Disconnect existing main gas supply lines and electrical power wiring for modifications. Disconnect and remove existing chimney flue and patch chimney. Remove all piping headers, insulation, gas piping and electrical conduit to access boiler for removal. Disassemble, remove and dispose of existing boiler and burner assembly. Furnish and install (2) Lochinvar FTX, high efficiency, condensing boilers with a 500k input and 489k gross output, with a thermal efficiency of at least 97%. Furnish and install supply and return water piping with insulation, isolation valves, air separator and backflow preventer. Install temperature gauges. Furnish and install intake and exhaust pvc piping from side wall to each boiler. Extend electrical service to each boiler. Fill and check system for leaks. Program existing boiler controllers as required for efficient operation. Start and check boiler operation, provide training to Voorheesville Library Staff.
