Senior Center Patio - CDBG Project

This project is for the addition of an exposed aggregate patio and service walk at the Senior Center as described below. Macomb Township will be responsible for the site survey and the staking of the site. Macomb Township must also conduct a form inspection prior to pouring concrete. Septic field material handling and disposal and irrigation system work may be required. It shall be noted that at the time of pre-bid site inspection, existing bocce courts may exist in the area of proposed site improvements. These courts will be removed by others prior to start of construction. The construction site shall be accessed from the Senior Center Parking Lot and access drive at the north end of the site. No access shall be made from the shared parking lot to the south of the building. Material may be stockpiled at the north end of the Senior Center Parking Lot, however, the stockpile area shall be kept to a minimum due to on-going senior activities during construction. The three doors along the east face of the building adjacent to the patio and sidewalk construction must remain accessible and unobstructed throughout the duration of construction for emergency purposes.
