Well #16 Maintenance and Repair

The last maintenance on this well and pumping equipment was completed in spring of 2020. The City is not having issues with the pumping equipment or well at this time, so scheduled work on this well can be mutually coordinated to be completed between the fall of 2022 to the spring of 2023. If this well fails prior to the fall of 2022, the contractor must schedule and begin work without delay. This project includes a new a new pump and motor to be purchased and installed. The City may have the existing pump and motor rebuilt to keep as spare equipment. The new pump and motor must be ordered immediately after contract award. Proof of order shall be submitted to City. Contractor shall have the new pump and motor available for installation if there is a failure prior to the fall of 2022. This well motor is powered by a VFD with a by-pass starter, so the new equipment and materials installed must be inverter duty rated.
