Snow Creek Pump Station Relocation and Flood Hardening - City of Hickory

A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Notice is hereby given that the City of Hickory is conducting a qualification-based selection process to retain a proponent for professional engineering services for Snow Creek Pump Station Relocation and Flood Hardening Project. SCOPE OF SERVICES The City of Hickory Public Utilities Department is soliciting RFQ's for the design, permitting, bidding, FEMA BRIC grant program management and other related engineering services common to infrastructure hardening and flood mitigation. This project generally consists of the relocation of the Snow Creek Pump Station outside of the Special Flood Hazard Area, and stream restoration through implementation of floodplain benching at Snow Creek. Written questions regarding this RFQ must be received by Friday, March 25th 2022, no later than 12:00 PM. Email questions are acceptable but must contain the wording "Snow Creek Pump Station Relocation and Flood Hardening Project" in the subject line. Questions may then be responded to as an amendment to this document and posted to the solicitation within an anticipated five (5) working days after questions deadline. Oral statements or instructions shall not constitute an amendment to this RFQ. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
