| Description | The work to be completed by the contractor involves the cleaning of the thermal vacuum chamber shell, the TVAC clean room, to include the vertical flow cleanroom, horizontal flow cleanroom, and gowning room, and each of the 6 individual shroud segments to be installed into the chamber. To optimize work flow these areas should be cleaned in the following order: chamber shell, shroud sections, vertical flow room, and horizontal flow room. The contractor will be working in conjunction with welders and riggers who are making repairs to and installing the shroud sections into the vacuum chamber. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the chamber as each shroud section is being installed. |
