Description | For Bridge Preservation/rehabilitation in Wayne County, Scott Township and Preston Township, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State Route 4014 Section D51 (Maple Grove Road / Winterdale Road) Over Balls Creek and State Route 4041 Section 650 (Rock Lake Road) Over Riley Creek. The Project Being Situated as Follows: Sr 4014 Section D51 From Segment 0140 Offset 2021 to Segment 0150 Offset 0308, Scott Township 1.6 Miles East of Sr 4037 and Approximately 2.7 Miles Southwest of the New York/pennsylvania Border. Work Includes Deck Replacement, Replacement of the Guide Rail, Roadway, and Signing and Pavement Markings That Are Impacted by Construction. Additional Preservation Work Will Include Beam and Abutment Repairs, and Streambank/scour Protection. This Project Will Retain the Existing Horizontal and Vertical Alignments of the Roadway and Bridge. The Proposed Deck Replacement Will Be Accomplished Using Staged Construction to Maintain One Lane of Bi-directional Traffic at All Times. Sr 4041 Section 650 From Segment 0040 Offset 1192 to Segment 0040 Offset 1742, Preston Township 1.7 Miles West of Sr 247 and 2.1 Miles Southeast of Sr 4033. Work Includes Superstructure Replacement, Replacement of Guide Rail, Roadway, and Signing and Pavement Markings That Are Impacted by Construction. This Project Will Retain the Existing Horizontal and Vertical Alignments of the Roadway and Bridge. To Limit Impact on the Traveling Public, Staged Half Width Construction is Suitable for This Project Due to the Low Adt. Traffic Will Be Maintained During Construction Using a Single Lane, Bi-directional Pattern With Stop Signs. The Intersecting Road to Sr 4041 in the Project Area, Rutledge Road, Will Be Detoured During Construction of Sr 4041. The Detour Route is 1.9 Miles and Uses Sr 4041 and Stockport Turnpike.
