Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (with a maximum sum of $20,000) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the condition provided in the bid. Bidders shall calculate their bids based on information contained in the Bid Documents.
