Facilities Roofing Repair and Installation Services

JSEB participation goal - 5.00% To establish pricing for the following roofing services; installation, repair, insulation and sheet metal flashing. When replacing roofing, the JEA Contract Administrator will make the decision if removing the existing roof, insulation and sheet metal flashing down to the existing substrate is necessary. Where needed, new tapered insulation will be installed to provide a finished slope of ¼” on 12”. Johns Manville, Siplast, or Soprema products are the standard to be utilized for installation and repair. Re-roof projects are estimated at 500 squares per year during the length of this contract. This number may be increased or decreased as deemed necessary by JEA. Currently, there is an average of eight (8) repair projects estimated per month on existing roofing. This includes emergency call-outs and nonemergency call-outs and may fluctuate as situations occur. Roofing materials specifications as defined by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) must be followed.
