2021 Water Main Replacement Program

The southern part of the project is located south of US Highway 50 and east of De Soto Dr and the northern part is located north of US Highway 50 and east of S Smiley St. The project involves replacing approximately 16,600 feet of existing 6-inch and 8-inch water mains with C900 DR-18 PVC pipe. The project also consists of replacing approximately 850 feet of existing 8-inch sanitary sewer. The project shall be phased to complete the sanitary sewer and water main replacement in the southern portion of the project first, including service transfers. Some overlap in the construction on the southern portion and northern portion can be expected.
