Description | For Electrical Panel Upgrade at Lakeview CMHA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received and waive any informality in the proposals received. Proposals may not be withdrawn without the written consent of CMHA for 120 days from the date of the receipt of the proposal. CMHA is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, exempt from all taxes and has adopted and supports the Small Disadvantaged Business Program for Minority and Female Business Enterprise Participation, dated December, 1994. The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (hereinafter, "CMHA" or "the Authority") was created by the Ohio State Board of Housing in May 1933. CMHA's jurisdiction includes all of Cuyahoga County, with the exception of Chagrin Falls Township. The administrative office is located at 8120 Kinsman Road, in Cleveland, Ohio. There are approximately 38 site offices. CMHA is a body corporate and politic organized under Chapter 3735 of the Ohio Revised Code, and is federally subsidized, by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to provide decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing to low and moderate income families. It is regulated by the Housing Act of 1937 as amended, regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, as well as Chapter 3735 of the Ohio Revised Code SUMMARY OF WORK Remove and replace unit electrical panels at Lakeview Tower. Replace existing circuit breakers with new and add spares to any additional panel space. Furnish conduit and wire for complete electrical system and patch and paint wall as necessary to match existing SCOPE OF WORK a. The project consists of replacing electrical panels (total 181) throughout the building in the residential units with new panels including new circuit breakers and conduit and wiring as necessary to complete the electrical system in the unit. The work includes all labor, materials and equipment for the work per the scope of work. b. Existing Zinsco Panel to be replaced with GE (or approved equal) panel and appropriate circuit breakers. Panel is to be installed per current NEC. c. Circuit breaker serving kitchen outlets is to be GFCI. d. Allowances for the project will be $75,000 and should be added to the base bid on the Project Bid Sheet |
