Description

1. Provide traffic control. 2. Remove existing fencing and gate for temporary access to pump station and replace with new fencing and gate with 3 strands barbed wire. 3. Provide temporary bypass operations until improved pump station is successfully tested, approved for use by the BGJWSC, and returned into operation. 4. Provide erosion and sediment control 5. Provide excavation and backfill in accordance with OSHA requirements 6. Provide dewatering and proper disposal of pump discharge. 7. Demolish existing 4-inch force main between existing wetwell and tie-in connection to existing 8-inch force main 8. Remove existing 4-inch flow meter from existing meter vault and return to BGJWSC designated location. Existing rack-mounted transmitter and enclosure to be reused at new Site location. Existing meter vault to remain. 9. Remove existing 4-inch check/plug valves and associated equipment from existing valve vault and return equipment to BGJWSC designated location. Remove existing valve vault and access hatch intact and return to BGJWSC designated location 10.Demolish concrete top and access hatch from existing wetwell 11. Remove existing 3-hp submersible pumps and associated equipment and return to BGJWSC designated location 12. Provide new 8-feet x 8-feet x 7.5-feet deep precast concrete valve vault with new access hatch. 13. Provide (2) new 8-inch check/plug valve trains in new valve vault and (1) new 8-inch magnetic flow meter in existing meter vault. 14. Provide new 8-inch force main from existing wet well, through existing vaults with connections to new valves and meter, with termination connection to existing 8-inch force main. 15. Upgrade existing electrical service to 3-phase, 230-volt, with capacity to power (2) 6.5-hp submersible pumps that will be controlled by (2) variable frequency drives in flow pacing operation. Provide new 200-amp disconnect fused per NEC. 16. Provide (2) new 6.5-hp submersible motors complete with submersible pumps, floor-mounted discharge bases, guide rails, lifting chains, motor electrical cables, and floats and radar level controls. 17. New 6-inch HDPE bypass. 18. Provide air release valves in existing wet well 19. Maintenance of erosion and sedimentation control BMP 20. Maintenance of traffic control required to complete work shown in construction documents and as required for project by Glynn County and the City of Brunswick. 21. Restoration including but not limited to; seeding, new fencing section replacement, and all other areas disturbed by construction as per constructiondocumentsto equal or betterthan existing condition.
