Solitaire Court Stream Restoration Project

1. Construction of the Solitaire Court Outfall Repair & Stream Restoration project located on City of Gaithersburg Diamond Farm Park property near the intersection of Solitaire Court and Quince Orchard Boulevard in Montgomery County, Maryland. This project will be constructed in three phases on the unnamed tributary upstream of Solitaire Court running downstream to its confluence with Long Draught Branch. 2. Construction will begin in the unnamed tributary, Solitaire Court Reach 1, located south of Solitaire Court on the upstream end of the project to the Solitaire Court culvert. At the 54-inch RCP outfall, the existing headwall and apron will be removed and replaced, and a rock-lined plunge pool will be installed. The stream section includes approximately 445 linear feet and includes stabilizing the stream channel with weir step-pool systems and riffle grade control structures. 3. The second phase of the project, Solitaire Court Reaches 2 & 3, is downstream of the Solitaire Court culvert and located between Solitaire Court and Brown Station Elementary School ending at the confluence of Long Draught Branch. The stream section is approximately 1775 linear feet and includes stabilizing the stream channel with a log step pool system, riffle grade control structures, portions of channel re-alignment; and valley grade control structures to provide a framework for floodplain benches. There are three sub-phases in this portion of the construction.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Ponds and Reservoirs.
