Description

The Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans (Board) would like to prepare the site for the Louisiana International Terminal (Project) on the Mississippi River in Violet, Louisiana as described in Appendix "A". The Board intends to use the Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) delivery method for the Project, as authorized by Louisiana law pursuant to La. R.S. 38:2225.2.4. Use of the CMAR delivery method for this Project is in the public interest and beneficial to the Board for reasons including, but not limited to, the following: Collaboration between the construction contractor and design engineer team allowing identification and resolution of constructability concerns, Minimization of the risk of construction and design disputes, Facilitate completion of the Project within the established budget and an agreed upon guaranteed maximum price (GMP) All inquiries shall be directed to the Procurement Department at procurement@portnola.com by Monday, March 27, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. (CDT).
