Water, Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Facilities & Paving and Appurtenances to Serve Fairwater Section 11, Fairwater Section 12, and Fairwater Parkway Phase II - Contract II

Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: Water, sanitary sewer and drainage facilities and paving and appurtenances. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver, at the bid opening address, the original certified or cashier's check within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of the bid opening. By submitting a Bid, Bidder acknowledges and agrees that the Contract Documents may be accepted, executed or agreed to through the use of an Electronic Signature, as defined by and in accordance with Owner's Electronic Signature Rules for Construction Contracts. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. Contractor shall have 30 days from the time of the Notice to Proceed to substantially complete the Water, Sanitary Sewer Facilities, Drainage Facilities items for Fairwater Section 11 and Fairwater Parkway. Contractor shall have 50 days from the time of the Notice to Proceed to substantially complete the Water, Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Facilities items for Fairwater Section 12. Contractor shall have 75 days from the time of the Notice to Proceed to substantially complete the Paving Facilities items for Fairwater Section 11 and Fairwater Parkway. Contractor shall have 90 day from the time of the Notice to Proceed to Substantially complete the Paving Facilities Items for Fairwater 12. Contractor shall substantially complete the work within 125 calendar days after the date of the written Notice to Proceed and to complete the project within 135 calendar days after the date of the written Notice to Proceed

Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks.
Division 34 -	Transportation, Operation and Maintenance of Transportation.
