| Description | The Wake County Public School System reserves the right to reject any and all Bids -Removal of the existing roofing system down to the structural metal deck. Roof Size is approximately 66,000 sq ft. Roof areas include both low slope and steep slope framing. - The roofing system insulation shall be isocyanurate insulation with a 1/2 " fiber-mat-faced gypsum overlayment board, sloped to drain from the perimeter walls to the interior drains. Insulation on low-slope roof areas will require fully-adhered tapered insulation and sumps at drains The replacement membrane assembly consists of the application of a fully-adhered, 60 mil minimum PVC or KEE sheet membrane. Project includes an alternate for the membrane on steep-slope roof areas to have PVC membrane standing seams welded to the field membrane to simulate the appearance of standing seam ribs |
