Description

Remove rooftop Air Handling Unit. ReplWORK INCLUDED 1.1.1 Work covered by this contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, devices, appliances, and equipment necessary to perform all the work described in the Contract Documents. 1.1.2 All work is located at the MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast, 110 Gateway Corporate Boulevard, Columbia, SC 29203. Refer to drawing K1. BASE BID WORK - 110 Gateway Corporate Boulevard: RA 1 (Approximately 27,594 SF): The work generally consists of the complete removal and disposal of the existing aggregate ballast, filter cloth, EPDM roof membrane, associated EPDM and metal flashings down to the surface of the existing rigid insulation or the metal decking in the event that there is damaged or deteriorated insulation and thermal barrier; removal and disposal of existing metal coping and overflow scupper liners.; preparations include, but are not limited to, inspection of existing insulation, thermal barrier, substrate decking, and parapet walls making repairs or replacement as necessary; raising sanitary vents, as necessary; disconnecting, raising and reconnecting existing curb mounted rooftop equipment; and the new installation of mechanically attached flat polyisocyanurate insulation, drain sumps, tapered saddles between the roof drains and the parapet walls, high density polyisocyanurate cover board, single ply Flexible Sheet Membrane (PVC) roof assembly, metal, PVC, and liquid applied flashings, metal coping & overflow scupper liners, walk pads, condensate drain piping and supports, and miscellaneous work, as specified herein. ace with new RTU as specified.
