Description

The Shelby County Road Department and the Shelby County Fiscal Court are advertising for bids for the resurfacing of: 1. Mulberry Pike 26,030' long 1.00" thick 2,684 tons 2. Hill Spring Earth Rd 776' long 1.00" thick 67 tons 3. Washburn Road 20,803' long 1.00" thick 2,213 tons 4. Moody Pike 7,381' long 1.00" thick 718 tons 5. Booker Lane 5,919' long 1.00" thick 567 tons Approximate TONS 6,249 tons The roads should take approximately 6,249 tons of asphalt surface. It must be tack coated and compacted properly. Milled edge keys where needed are incidental. Clearing the edge of pavement of vegetation is incidental. All bidders must be fully insured. Must provide traffic control that meets the MUTCD.
