Description

Furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, etc., and performing all work necessary to complete the 2020 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Effluent Pump Station Rehabilitation Phase 4, CCE Project No. C0183, for the City of Covington, Louisiana. The Contractor shall hold a Louisiana Contractors license in the Municipal and Public Works Classification. The work consists of providing all labor and materials necessary to remove and replace two (2) effluent pumps & motors, ductile iron piping, two (2) VFDs, electrical controls, and all associated electrical work, testing, bypass pumping, and other related work in accordance to plans and detailed in these Specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of certified check, cashiers check, or Bid Bond as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218.A.C, in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid and payable without conditions to the Owner as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute a Contract in accordance with his proposal and all terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. The outside envelope in which the bid is placed must be clearly marked as follows: EFFLUENT PUMP STATION REHABILITATION PHASE 4 Project No. C0183 INCLUDE: Contractors name, address, and Louisiana state contractors license number All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the Contract throughout.
