Hanger 111 Phase IV Roadside Lean-to Renovation

The proposed work involves providing all materials, labor and equipment for Hangar 111 Phase IV Renovation, Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland. The work includes a design-bid-build construction renovation of the Hangar 111 Phase IV at Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD. Hangar 111 consists of two high-bay barrel vault hangars and three "lean-to" shop and administrative structures. The lean-to structures are on the north and south ends of the building and in the center, separating the two barrel vaults. The Hangar 111 life extension project does not change the current building footprint, occupancy, population or uses of the building. This is the fourth phase of a six phase project to modernize and extend the life of this facility and renovates the Southern or Roadside Lean-To renovation which is 15,537SF. A phase approach inside the building is requird to maintain operation during construction. In accordance with FAR 52.211-10 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work, the Government desires completion of construction within 745 calendar days after award (includes 15 calendar days for submission and approval of bonds and insurance and 730 calendar days for construction duration).
