Tahitian Village Concrete Culvert Extension Project

1) Kaanapali Lane and Wahainee Drive: The Kaanapali Lane and Wahainee Drive location has two (2) existing 10’x10’ cast in place concrete culverts that need to be widened. The extension of the two (2) existing l0'Xl0' culvert at this location will be on the south side of roadway. Contractor will be required to remove the top portion of the headwall on the south side of the culvert bridge and then extend the culverts by 6 feet with cast in place culvert extensions. The new headwall construction shall be completed in accordance with TxDOT Standard Sheets MC-MD, MC-10-7, and PW (TxDOT Standard Sheets are attached to this Request for Bids). 2) Briar Forest Road North and Kaanapali Lane: The Briar Forest Road North and Kaanapali Lane location has one (1) existing 10’x10’ cast in place concrete culvert. The extension of the existing l0'Xl0' culvert at this location will be on the eastside of roadway.Contractor will be required to remove the top portion of the headwall on the east side of the culvert bridge and then extend the culverts by 6 feet with cast in place culvert extensions. The new headwall construction shall be completed in accordance with TxDOT Standard Sheets SCC-MD, SCC-10, and PW (TxDOT Standard Sheets are attached to this Request for Bids).
