Sewer Main Relining FY23

It is the intent of this specification to provide for the reconstruction of pipelines and conduits by the installation of a resin impregnated flexible tube, which is tightly formed to the original conduit. The resin is cured using either hot water under hydrostatic pressure or steam pressure within the tube. The Cured-ln-Place Pipe (CIPP) will be continuous and tight fitting. The Contractor shall be licensed and bonded in North Carolina and shall use sufficient workmen and competent supervisors in the execution of this portion of the work to ensure adequate and proper installation throughout. BID BOND A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid a $500,000.00 or more. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond will be required from the successful bidder or any bids $300,000.00 or more
