Bridge Group 43A - Mohegan Bridge No.673

The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of. but is not limited to: utility relocation: remoyal and disposal of the existing two simple span steel girder and reinforced concrete slab superstructure in its entirety: partial removal and disposal of existing reinforced concrete substructure abutments and pier: deep foundation installation to strengthen existing pier rooting; constructing new concrete pier columns and cap; excavation and backfill; erecting a new two span continuous steel girder bridge superstructure with composite concrete deck; concrete patching repairs to portions of existing substructures to remain: partial reconstruction of existing back walls and beam seats; application of waterproofing membrane and placement of bituminous pavement over waterproofing membrane; partial depth and full depth approach pavement reconstruction; micro milling bituminous pavement: installation of stormwater management systems: cutting and matching pavement; saw cutting bituminous pavement; concrete curb; bituminous berm; steel beam guardrail: signing and striping: site preparation; plantable soil and seed: maintenance and protection of traffic; and all other tasks and incidentals necessary to complete the work of this Contract.
