Electrical Construction - Old Office Demolition and Site Rehabilitation

PROJECT NO.: FDC-202-1 02599 Location: COOK FOREST STATE PARK, CLARION COUNTY, BARNETT Work included under this contract consists of electrical construction work within Cook Forest State Park. The work includes but is not limited to selective demolition, improved electrical power services, trenching and backfilling for new electrical service, exterior lighting fixtures, service entrance panelboard, service to pre-cast concrete building and EV charging station and new service entrance. Engineer's Estimate: $50,000 - $100,000 DGS Small Business Certification Required *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bid Bond: 10% Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% Maintenance Bond: 50% Prevailing Wage Rate: Yes It is further proposed to execute the Contract, including the bonds, in accordance with the requirements of the General Conditions, to begin work within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, and to complete the work within Two Hundred Seventy (270) calendar days after the official starting date. The tenth (10th) day after receipt of Notice to Proceed shall be the official starting date unless the ten (10) day period is extended in writing by the Secretary. It is understood that if the work is not completed within the time above specified or such extension thereof, as shall be granted in accordance with the General Conditions, the Contractor shall pay the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as liquidated damages and not as a penalty for non-completion of work, the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per day for each and every calendar day thereafter until the work shall be completed and accepted. Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise participation are not required for this contract.
