Description The conversion of two existing “can” type lift stations to a wet well system with submersible pumps. This project will be a complete re-build of the two stations and components except for the existing 8-foot diameter concrete wells. The rehabilitation work on the lift stations will consist of a complete demolition of the existing components and electrical system leaving the existing 8-foot diameter concrete well for future use. The well will be cleaned and lined for the conversion of each station to a duplex submersible pump type lift station. The reconstruction will include new submersible pumps, valve pit and related components, connection of electrical service, pump control panel with VFD drives, and a new backup generator. The project will require complete bypass pumping of the influent to the stations for the duration of the construction.
