Plans call for renovations to the existing 177-room national chain hotel as well as the construction of a sky bridge across Front Avenue south of Ninth Street to be connected to the Convention & Trade Center. The project will also include the construction of 90 additional hotel rooms, bringing the total number of rooms in the structure to 265. The total square footage of the project has not been announced. As of September 14, 2022, no building permits have been submitted for review to the the City of Columbus for renovations to the existing hotel. Information regarding either an architect or general contractor has not been disclosed.
