Description

Proposal A - Door Replacement The project consists of, but is not limited to: 1. Demolition and replacement of designated hollow metal and FRP doors, frames and hardware at: a. Warren Woods Middle School b. Warren Woods Tower High School c. Transportation Building Proposal B - Overhead Doors The project consists of, but is not limited to: 1. Demolition and replacement of designated overhead and rolling doors, both manual and electric operation, including associated hardware and material at: a. Warren Woods Middle School b. Warren Woods Tower High School c. Transportation Building The bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the School Board, or the Superintendent of Schools. The Owner will not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Such cash, checks, or bid bonds will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders for each contract within five (5) days after the opening of bids, and the remaining cash, checks, or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted bidders have executed the Contract, or if no award has been made, within sixty (60) days after the date of the opening of bids, upon demand of the bidder at any time thereafter, so long as he has not been notified of the acceptance of his bid. PROPOSAL ACCEPTANCE: The right to accept and/or reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities and/or irregularities in bid proposals submitted during the bidding process is reserved by the Owner, which right may be exercised at the sole discretion of the Owner. PROPOSAL WITHDRAWAL: Proposals for base bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time established for the receipt of proposals. Bidders may withdraw at any item prior to the time set for the receipt of proposals.
