Weed Control

It shall be unlawful for the owner or occupant or any person or persons, firm or corporation having charge of any lot or parcel of land within the City of South Lyon to permit or allow to grow thereon any weeds of any kind (including grasses and similar plants exceeding 8 inches in height) scattered among which are noxious weeds such as Canada thistles, dodders, mustards, wild carrot, bindweed, perennial sow thistles, hoary alyssum, ragweed, poison ivy, poison sumac, or any other plant or varieties of plant which are recognized as inducing hay fever or other diseases, or being in any other way deleterious to the health or comfort of the community.
