Installation of Speed Hump at Utopia and Riverdale

The Successful Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to install eight (8) traffic calming speed humps. All speed humps shall be installed in two (2) lifts of S3 Asphalt, and tack coat must be applied prior to laying S3 asphalt. One inch (1’) solid white thermoplastic must be used to mark the speed humps. All work must be done in strict compliance with the drawings and specifications illustrated below. The installation of sixteen (16) ‘Speed Bump Ahead’ signs must also be installed based on specifications W17-1 of Manuel on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) to be placed within Fifty Feet (50’) of approaching the speed hump along with 24 delineators to placed, three (3) per side, per speed hump in accordance with the MUTCD Section 3F.01 only at the Utopia Dr site. The delineators must be performance level flexible, white colored with reflective sheeting, and stand at thirty-six inches (36”).
