Description

Rehabilitation of the existing lift station to prepare it for City to replace pumps. Contractor to perform site civil work to include, but not limited to, installing a washdown pad, small water line, and gate/fence improvements. Bypass pumping by contractor will be required during rehabilitation. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five (5%) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. The Project has an expected duration of 90 days. Please submit all questions for this project in writing no later than Friday, September 16, 2022 at 2:00PM to: Gary Freeland, P.E. gfreeland@freelandturk.com The Project includes the following Work: Rehabilitation of the existing lift station to include replacing pump hardware and installing a washdown pad and gate/fence improvements. Bypass pumping will be required during rehabilitation. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Stearns Lane Lift Station Rehabilitation Project Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work.
