Description

The Project consists of soil reinforcement, pinned granite blocks, rip rap, drainage, and site improvements to minimize erosion and to protect the park, causeway, wastewater system, and shoreline. The existing wood crib wall will be removed, and portions of the causeway will be re-built. Per the drawings and specifications, the work will run from the Ruggles Park boat ramp, through the existing wood crib wall, along the northern and southern sides of the causeway, and behind the chlorination building and wastewater tanks to the yacht club. Alternate portions of work include soil reinforcement and rip rap in front of and beyond the yacht club, soil reinforcement and pinned granite blocks north of the boat ramp, and drainage and rip rap at North Avenue.
