Roof Replacement

As of October 12, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Kenton County Animal Services - Roof Replacement A Bid Bond amounting to five (5%) percent of the proposed bid/proposal price must be provided with the response. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a surety bond, cashier check or other form of surety satisfactory to the county attorney. If the contract is awarded to the bonded bidder, the bidder will accept the contract as bid, or else the surety will pay the Fiscal Court a specific amount because of default on part of the bidder. The Kenton County Fiscal Court is seeking proposals for the Kenton County Animal Services Department to replace the existing roof located at 1020 Mary Laidley Drive, Covington, Kentucky 41017. This work shall include all labor, material and equipment necessary for the Replacement of Roof at the Kenton County Animal Shelter. All materials and supplies are to be new as provided by the manufacturer. All materials shall be delivered to the jobsite in manufacturer's original, un-opened containers, with manufacturer's seals and labels intact, dry and undamaged. No materials shall be left onsite overnight. Awarded Contractor must establish and maintain closed work area for customer and guest safety. Materials shall be installed according to manufacturer's recommendations. All questions are to be directed to the Purchasing Manager, Holly Hill at holly.hill@kentoncounty.org. The answers will be posted on kentoncounty.org/bids. Bids accepted by the Kenton County Fiscal Court will be available to all members of the Northern Kentucky Governmental Purchasing Association. The Kenton County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive formalities, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified bidder to such an extent as may be determined by the Fiscal Court, even though such bid may not, on its face, appear to be the lowest and best price. The County is not responsible for the delivery of mail or other services, therefore only the bids/proposals received in the Purchasing Office prior to the opening will be considered.
