Description

1. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools and necessary equipment to mow the upstream and downstream face of each dam. 2. The downstream face includes all previously mowed areas down to the tree line and along outlet structures where mowing is possible. 3. Small trees and shrubs growing in the rip-rap along the upstream face-edge of the dam shall also be cut. 4. All mowing shall be completed no later than specified. The contractor shall expect to encounter extremely steep and rugged terrain and, on occasion, trees from 1-2 inches in diameter. 5. Each dam shall be mowed once between May 1 and May 31, and once between October 1 and October 31."
