Description | The general scope of work is to renovate an existing open office space and reception area to create an enclosed office space and storage room within the MLK Community Center located at 140 E. 12th Street. The scope also includes improving an existing storage room to provide an additional office space. The work includes, but is not limited to, demolish an existing wall; construct new office walls; drywall, texture and paint to match existing; install two new doors with hardware and frames, one with a sidelight; add one sidelight to existing door frame; install carpet and carpet base; relocate three drop-in light fixtures; install four electrical outlets and two light switch sensors; remove and relocate supply room casework and filing cabinets; and connect existing ductwork to new air return and supply registers. |
