Description | Project scope: 1. Rip and remove existing layers of roof shingles from entire roof area 2. Re-nail plywood wherever necessary 3. Supply and install new aluminum drip edge at the roof eave 4. Supply and install six feet of ice and water barrier to all roof eaves and valleys 5. Supply and install synthetic roof underlayment to all remaining roof surface 6. Supply and install asphalt starter shingles to all rake and eave edges 7. Supply and install GAF Timberline lifetime architectural roof shingles 8. Supply and install new neoprene roof boots to all exhaust pipes 9. Supply and install concealed ridge vent 10. Use roller magnet to pick up all stray nails 11. Remove all excess and debris from job site 12. Replace rotted or delaminated plywood 13. Supply, fabricate, and install new copper base and counter flashing to chimney area 14. Remove and replace existing skylights [2] 15. Upgrade to GAF systems plus warranty 16. All work completed in a workmanlike manner according to Sherman building codes A response to an RFP is an offer to contract with the Town of Sherman based upon the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the this RFP. Proposals do not become contract unless and until executed by the BOS. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: The successful Firm agrees to maintain in enforce and in compliance with the below limits for the complete term of the contract. General Liability Each Occurrence 1,000,000 General Aggregate 2,000,000 Auto Liability Combined Single Limit Each Accident 1,000,000 Professional Liability 2,000,000 Excess Liability/ Umbrella 1,000,000 The Proposer shall take out and maintain during the life of the contract adequate Workman's compensation Insurance for all the employees employed on said work. In case any class of employees or subcontractors is engaged in hazardous work under the contract at the site of the work is not protected under the Workman's Compensation statute, the contractor shall provide Workman's Compensation Insurance for the protection of employees not otherwise protected. |
