Description

Engineer's Estimated Cost: $35,000,000 to $40,000,000. The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. Moreno Valley Raw Water Reclamation Facility Plant 2B Equipping, Centrate, and Flow Diversion Project Questions Due Date: Aug 12th 2022, 5:00 PM PDT Intent to Bid Due Date: Sep 1st 2022, 9:30 AM PDT Questions: Specific questions regarding the Project or the prequalification process shall be emailed to Scott Lopian, Sr. Construction Administrator lopians@emwd.org no later than September 3, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. Notification of Prequalification Status: October 7, 2021 Bonding Estimate: $20 Million Project Location: 17140 Kitching Street, Moreno Valley, CA 92551 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Addendum #1 has been issued as of 7-8-2022. General Contractors must demonstrate the satisfactory completion, as a prime general engineering contractor, of at least three (3) similar projects within the last ten (10) years of wastewater treatment facilities as follows: A. Contract Type: Public Works B. Construction Type: Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion or Modification C. Dollar value: $15 million or greater D. Materials and equipment: Modifications to or construction of aeration systems General Contractors failing to meet these minimum requirements will be rejected and will not be prequalified. In addition, each General Contractor will be evaluated utilizing the factors listed on the prequalification rating chart made a part of this package. All General Contractors submitting the prequalification form must be licensed in the state of California, at the time the prequalification forms are submitted to DISTRICT, with the following licenses and certifications: Class A - General Engineering Contractor General Contractors who fail to meet the license classifications and certification listed above will not be considered for prequalification. The advertisement of the Notice Inviting Bids for the MVRWRF Plant 2B Equipping, Centrate, and Flow Diversion Project is anticipated to occur first quarter of 2022. The Project construction duration is anticipated to be around 730 to 800 calendar days. The preliminary bonding estimate for the project is $20 Million COORD. 49B16 I.D. 19 SA. 32 Addendum #1-#9 have been issued as of 8-30-2022.
