Repair Mass Parking Apron, Section IV

This Performance Statement of Work (PWS) describes the objectives and technical approach for development of POL Contamination Investigation/Remediation at Section IIIIV, Mass Parking Apron, Minot AFB, ND. Minot is currently replacing a portion of the aircraft apron for parking/refueling B52 aircraft. POL contaminated soils were found under the existing pavement to be replaced. Once the existing pavement is removed the contractor will investigate/remediate soils before the pavement will be replaced. Removal/replacement of the pavement will be performed by another contractor. Minot AFB is under a RCRA permit. The contamination cleanup level for the Mass Parking Apron site is identified as 50 parts per million (ppm) total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) in the current RCRA permit. All documents will meet the requirements/approval of the State of North Dakota and USACE.
