DFCM Construction - State Hospital Rampton 2 and Forensics Fire Alarm Upgrades

Project includes the demolition of existing fire alarm systems, and the furnishing, installation, connection and testing of new microprocessor controlled, intelligent reporting fire alarm equipment required to form complete, operative and coordinated systems to protect each of the following buildings on the campus of the Utah State Hospital in Provo, UT. 1. Forensics Building 2. Rampton 2 Building Fire alarm systems shall include, but not be limited to: Alarm initiating devices, alarm notification appliances, Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP), remote power supplies, auxiliary control devices and relays, annunciators, conduit and wiring as shown on the drawings. All new fire alarm system components included under this specification shall be of FCI Type and interconnected by a fire alarm network (using existing IP network) with a network control center (FCI Focal Point graphic workstation) installed in the Fire Marshal’s Office of the Administration Building (coordinate location with Utah State Hospital Fire Marshal).
