Description | The Town hereby reserves the right to amend or terminate this Request for Proposals, accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the contract to the lowest proposal that meets the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposal and as may be in the best interests of the Town in its discretion. No right shall accrue to any person submitting a bid until such bids have been accepted and contract awarded in writing by the duly authorized representative of the Town. The Town may renew by mutual agreement in writing by the Town the term of this contract awarded for one (1) year optional, or an addition of two (2) years. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the lowest responsible Bidder, and to waive any informalities, omissions, excess verbiage, or technical defects in the bidding, if, in the opinion of the Town, it would be in their best interest to do so. On-call services will be utilized for the plowing/deicing and snow removal services of any Town-owned/maintained roadways including paved and dirt roads, intersections, cul-de-sacs and parking lots. Trucks and Equipment to be used shall include the cost of the operator, fuel and maintenance in the quoted rate. The Town will supply salt and/or sand from the Town Garage storage area. |
