Description

The project consists of the replacement of the water main on Railroad Avenue and North Bay Avenue in the Township of Stafford, Ocean County, New Jersey. The proposed Water System Improvements shall include the installation of 650 Linear Feet of 6 Class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe water main, 20 Linear Feet of 4 Inch Class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe water main, the replacement of water services, curb stops and meter pits and the installation of 3 fire hydrants. Bid must be on the bid form prepared by Remington and Vernick Engineers, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of the project and the name and address of the Bidder. Bid Must Be Addressed and Delivered To Nicola Reid, Purchasing Agent, Stafford Township, 260 East Bay Avenue, Purchasing Department - 2nd floor Room 276, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Bids will not be accepted after stated date and time. Bid security is required in the amount of not less than ten percent of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21. Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. Required bidder information can be found in the bid documents. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Should interested bidders not have the ability to handle electronic download sets, a set may be arranged to be sent overnight by calling 732-286-9220.
