Description

This pre-bid meeting will be the only opportunity for interested parties to receive a comprehensive overview of the Project and a guided tour of portions of the site and facilities that are part of the work. Please direct any questions regarding this invitation to bid via email to Debbie Hansen Project Coordinator at hansend@loswego.k12.or.us and Project Manager Diana Kessler at diana.kessler@turntown.com Request for Clarification / Solicitation Protest Due Date Thursday, March 23, 2023, 5 p.m. Anticipated Award Date Monday, April 3, 2023 This Project consists of the work described in the Drawings and Specifications and all work incidental, necessary or reasonably inferable from the Drawings and Specifications. The successful Bidder will be expected to provide construction services as required by the Contract, including but not limited to: a. Create a schedule that achieves substantial completion no later than Friday, August 18, 2023, and Project close out no later than Friday August 25, 2023. The substantial completion shall include all work shown on the drawings and briefly described in the scope of work below. b. Provide, through itself or subcontractors, the necessary supervision, labor, material, equipment, machinery, temporary utilities, and other temporary facilities to permit the complete construction of the Project in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. c. Exercise complete and exclusive control over the means, methods, sequences, and techniques of construction. d. Employ only subcontractors who are duly licensed and qualified to perform the work consistent with the Contract. The District may reasonably object to contractor's selection of any subcontractor, provided that the Contract price and/or Contract time(s) shall be adjusted to the extent that the District's decision impacts contractor's cost and/or time of performance. e. Provide materials and labor necessary to complete all aspects of the Project Scope of Work as indicated. The Project consists of the removal and disposal of existing flooring, mastic and base material, and procurement and installation of new flooring and base materials for Westridge & Hallinan Elementary School. Also, procurement and storage of the total amount of flooring, and base materials for a total of (4) Elementary School flooring replacement projects including Westridge & Hallinan ES, as noted below: 1. Approximately 110,400 sq.ft. of carpet tile. Note: (Amount includes 20% for cuts). 2. Approximately 2,800 sq.ft. of walk off mat. Note: (Amount includes 20% for cuts). 3. Approximately 4,800 sq.ft. of Resilient Flooring tiles. Note: (Amount includes 10% for cuts). 4. Approximately 18,700 lin.ft. of base. Note: (Amount includes 15% for cuts). Note: quantities noted above does not include attic stock as identified in Specification Sections 09 65 00 and 09 68 13. Work to include: Removal, disposal of all flooring and base materials noted for replacement. Provision and installation of new flooring material, carpet tiles, walk off mat, resilient flooring, and baseboard material for Westridge & Hallinan Elementary Schools as indicated in the Construction Documents. Include subfloor preparation, repair and wall repair as required from flooring and base material removal and install. Protection of all finish surfaces, final cleaning of all areas of work impacted by flooring install. Disposal of all construction materials, clean site.
