| Description | This scope of work shall include “Rough Pavement”. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and related items necessary to complete the work shown on the drawings as specified in the specifications for asphalt rough paving. Asphalt shall be composed of asphalt and aggregate and shall be mixed in proportions to provide homogeneous, stable, and workable mixture. Contractor to execute all paving in an orderly manner with consideration for any existing structures, including any parts of the surrounding areas that are to remain. Barricade and cover as necessary to protect pedestrian, workmen, and adjacent properties. The items of work to be performed. Prep work to crown the roadway to allow water to shed to the sides. Then Install 2” of Crush and Run. Install 2” Crushed Asphalt on top and compact. Apply Sealer to the Crushed Asphalt to help bind product together. |
