USCG Replace Fuel Tanks USCG Station Gloucester, Ma & Merrimack River

The work includes but is not limited to removing and replacing the diesel fuel aboveground storage tanks at Station Gloucester and Station Merrimack River. Work at Station Gloucester includes removing and disposing of the existing 1,000 gallon diesel fuel AST, tank appurtenances and piping between the tank and existing diesel fuel hose reel (to remain.) Replace with a new 1,000 gallon diesel fuel AST, tank appurtenances, fuel pump, fuel meter and piping between the tank and existing hose reel. Optional bid item: Replace the 1,000 gallon AST with a 1,500 gallon marine diesel fuel double wall AST. The price of the optional bid item will be the upgrade to the 1,500 tank. Work at Station Merrimack River includes removing and disposing of the existing 1,000 gallon diesel fuel AST, tank appurtenances and piping between the tank and hose reel. Replace with a new 1,500 gallon split fuel AST (gasoline – 500 gallons/diesel – 1,000 gallons), tank appurtenances for each fuel tank, fuel pump and fuel meter for each fuel tank, piping between the diesel fuel tank and new diesel fuel hose reel/dispenser, and piping between the gasoline fuel tank and new gasoline hose reel/dispenser.
