| Description | Work included under this contract consists of the repair of flood damaged sections as well as improvement of sections prone to future damage along approximately 1.2 miles of the canal, towpath and associated banks and berms. This includes excavation and removal of sediment deposits, failed slopes, and debris from the canal, towpath and embankment slopes; towpath embankment and slope wall restoration and repair; rock and geocell slope stabilization; construction of reinforced concrete towpath spillways/overflow structures; towpath surfacing; landscaping, seeding, and mulching.
