| Description | Scope of Services: A. Structural testing is to be performed in accordance with Section 1705 of the Connecticut State Building Code. B. The Testing Laboratory shall be NVLAP accredited and approved by the Structural Engineer of record (SER). Proof of accreditation shall be submitted with the Proposal. C. The Testing Laboratory shall maintain on staff a full time Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Connecticut, who shall stamp and sign all test reports. The Professional Engineer shall be responsible for the training of the testing technicians and shall be in charge of the field and laboratory testing operations. D. Inspections shall be performed by inspectors who meet the minimum qualifications of Inspectors and Testing Technicians as identified in the Statement of Special Inspections. All field inspectors shall have minimum OSHA 10 training. |
